Ryan's Baptism

Ryan's Prayer
(from Psalm 71)

In you, O Lord, let Ryan take refuge;
let him never be put to shame.
Rescue Ryan and deliver him in your righteousness;
turn your ear to him and save him.
Be Ryan's rock of refuge,
to which he can always go;
give the command to save him,
be his rock and his fortress.
I pray that you will be Ryan's hope,
O Sovereign Lord,
his confidence from his youth.
From birth may he rely on you;
for you brought him forth from his mother's womb.
Let Ryan ever praise you.

Sunny Days

Soaking in the final rays of summer:
The zucchini baby. (Nice face, Ryan.)

A picnic with Grammy at the Nature Center. We love this place.

Oh, Eli. It's a good thing your brother is pretty forgiving.

This is a picture from Mom's first outing with her three boys. A stroll at the Gardens.

Eli's favorite activity is helping out his daddy.

Growing up sure can wear you out.

Multi-tasking

One of the skills of motherhood has to be multi-tasking. The other afternoon we did some painting and corn husking.

Eli enjoyed the husking.

Ryan enjoyed watching his oldest brother.

Luke enjoyed the painting. . .

. . . and the (raw) corn. Hmmm, perhaps we shouldn't have combined these two. Don't worry, Mom, the paint was nontoxic.
