Dear Dave,

I love you. I had a great time on our anniversary trip to Chicago. Four years and 2.8 kids. Whew! This was a great celebration. I was spoiled by all the delicious food: lobster dim sum at Roy's, magical stonecrab at Joe's, and real deep-dish Chicago pizza. Yummy! The museums, the planetarium, the parks, and hotel were all great but the best part was spending some long, uninterrupted days with my very best friend. I praise God for bringing you into my life!

Watercolors

Armed with some new brushes from Walmart, we got out the watercolors the other day. It was a fun craft project for a sunny afternoon. Eli, with his usual attention to detail, was meticulous about getting the whole paper covered with paint. Luke enjoyed coloring the paper. . . and the table. . . and his shirt. . . Even though he did eventually cover his forehead with blue paint, the bruise you can see in this picture is from a nasty run-in with the edge of the deck. Ouch!

32 Weeks

What started with two...Quickly doubled to four...And we're soon to be outnumbered!We'll see you next month, little one!

Memorial Weekend

We spent the weekend in Canada visiting family and friends.

The boys thoroughly enjoyed the trampoline in the backyard. These pictures are a little blurry, but, well, it's a trampoline and they were bouncing pretty fast... Scrub-a-dub-dub... that's a lot of little boys in one tub!
